Mercury 8 pin harness to a new 250 pro xs

Has anyone used a older 8 pin harness on a 2015 250 pro xs.
I know I will need a adapter from a 8 pin to a round mercury connector.
Does anyone know if their are any troubles using the analog gauges, i.e. tac and temp.
Also does anyone now what wire and how to set up the neutral safety switch.
