I've just used loc-tite with good success. Not sure why jb didn't work, is hole wollered out some? If mota is apart, you could tap the holes and use the old school valves that thread in.

Ya know, don't remember if we tapped the holes or not. Material may be soft enough to just thread em in and let em just self tap. It was a while back when swapped em out for that style and T-.Rex was envolved, so don't remember. I know I don't have a pipe tap that small though

I have a 1/16" NPT pipe tap I bought from mcmaster and it's definitely necessary to tap since it's a tapered hole. I did the oil feed on my BP since the oem check valve was gone and I will not build another motor without doing at least that one. It feels much more secure to me.
In the other locations, red loctite and heat. It should flash cure and be rock solid.
seems after getting block re nik the holes are slightly bigger and had a few check valves fall apart upon removal so i drilled just enough to remove some fit tight some are loose is why i asked ,lock tite it is

Are you talking about the 1 way check valve that goes from the lower bearing to the top bearing. I wasn't aware that all of the elbowed fittings coming off of each cylinder has a check valve in it.
they dont some elbows are loose, i,m just not clear in describing chit
