Special order: 79879A1
Prio Marine dealer cost:$89.....were I to do it again I'd buy the few orings needed and not buy the kit!

Gotta come all the way apart. Powerhead off. Gearcase off. Then mid off the boat. Tuner plate and can then separated. Then ears off saddle and pin out of clevis end of ram. Then ram to a chain vise and out with the aluminum gland. Piston off the rod, then rebuild gland and piston and put it all back together.

Single ram 260, clamp cut down for 15", ram is still stock for 20", not a offshore clamp

just take the complete unit off and work on it on the bench. if you cannot get it apart due to corrosion, then or take it to hydraulics firm to get it done.
They are so cheap, they need to be due to being commercial places...
DONT tell them you have a great boat, let them think its an old fishing boat or will think your a rich man ha ha .

If the gland will turn, the cylinder rebuild is a cakewalk
