Omc v4 trim question

I have a omc v4 crossflow 16" mid. Not with the fasttrac trim. I have the 2 wire trim motor now running 24v up and 12v down. But its still not that fast. Was wondering if its possible to to take the omc pump out and put a merc cruiser pump in and use the omc rams? I know the merc pumps are alot faster. Any thoughts? Thanks

my friend has a crossflow 140 20 inch mid, and we used the trim off a Suzuki 75hp, it all bolts up the same and is about the same speed as my fastrak on my triple.
the units look almost identical.. and only used 12 volt as per normal.
