The 20’s are painted and one is assembled and installed.
Second one is in process.
Switched back to turning props out too.
At 25”, w/plates full up, I was even w/bottom.
Now I’ll be approx up 2”.

Very impressive. One of a kind for sure, “3.0 Finger Point” never seen that before. Very nice work!

Thanks Bruce.
You are the first to catch the “finger point”.
Was supposed to be “finger port”!
Didnt catch it until seeing it in the pixs.
Doh!

Nice job! Like the vents, paint looks great. Did you mean fingerport?
Question: will the seastar hit the splashwell when you trim up? Asking for a friend

Freagin auto spell!
Port, Port, Port!
And no, no interference.
Lots of time spent on steering at the motors.

Done!
That's probably one of the nicest Checkmates in existence.

Thank you sir!
Much appreciated.
Its probably as close to perfect as it will get while I own it.
I always focus on functionality over cosmetics on my projects and this one is the same.
If I had the time/money, I’d strip to bare hull and have the whole thing blocked/buffed and then you’d have something.
I sold my second twin OB 24’ Sonic after running out of things to improve!
As far as a functional, real cuddy cabin, that is fast and attractive, it would be tough to beat.
We use our cuddies as true weekenders and this one does very well at that side.
I have the parts to build a pair of modded 3.3 powerheads and if I took a summer to test my wall of props…., you’d probably have a 90 mph rocket!
Thanks again!

Not enough!
Two Friday - Sunday Lake Erie trip, one overnighter on the local pond and two day trips.
I built it for Lake Erie and has been in a snotty mod the last few seasons
Oh and, two days on the Suwanee River and one day on the Intracoastal between Vero Beach and Melbourne.
That trip, between hurricanes!
How often do use the boat?
The cuddy is really nice too.
