View Full Version : Fuel return line?
Is it okay to run the fuel return line on an EFI to a Tee fitting hookup to the fuel tank vent? Or should it go back into the tank through a separate hole?
Thanks

It should go back to the tank.
The only other way I know of is Teeing it to the fuel pumps suction in some manner. The water separator systems do this sometimes. 2 lines in, 1 line out.

On my river rocket Ihave two fuel pickup's maybe over kill but anyway I got some tubing and put a fuel barb on it then I cut a chunk of the fuel fill hose out and inserted the tubing with fuel barb in the fill hose. The fuel barb is on a angle so the fuel will run into the tank instead of into the outher side of the fill hose .I hooked up the return line works great no problems so far been two years:D

Fuel fills or pick ups?
Why would you want 2 pickups? It seems that if one sucked air the other wouldn't matter.

diamond told me to do that because the dia. of the stock pick up tube is a little on the small side. But I think I'am going to put one N0#8 line pick up at the bottom and back of the tank.IT's not coast guard approved but who care's
