so I have a 1983 merc 2.4 3.375 std bore [chrome] comes up for rings 39-813011a12 is this the right # ? Also as an alternative is marinepro rings good to use to?

That would be the correct part #, or part #1868 from pro marine.

10-4 brother,im trying to put together a cheap 1983 200 2.4 merc to put on the 16ft Allison this spring if you have read my thread birth of a 12 inch omc mid? Im not done with the v-4 yet but I got this motor for 200.00 bucks and will cut the mid and trim ram to 15 inches should be a good 100 + mph boat if a gots the nuts to take it that fast LOL
