2002 evinrude 250 DI rpm range

I was wondering where do I want the RPMs at WOT loaded for fishing. I always thought
5800 was good. I was told they need to be on the 6k limiter is that right?

They add fuel at 5800 (soft limiter) I have scuffed a piston above 5800 on a long run. Don't know if they add oil as well or just fuel. Peak power is at 5500.

I thought these motors run 5500-6000 (tel:5500-6000) RPMs. I thought the soft limiter was 6k

They add fuel starting at 5800 with soft limit at 6100. I always set them up to run 6000 light load so they run 56 to 58 with a load.

So where should I prop it to run WOT 6000rpms? most of the time
it will be just me and a full tank 70 gal and fishing gear
