I have a 1994 21' seacraft copy weight is 1,500lbs with a 2002 evinrude DI 250. So far I have run 4 props all on the revlimiter. The only one that wasn't on the limiter was a 30p raker. The boat ran 4200rpms trimmed out and WOT. I like the way the raker runs so I was thinking of getting a 22 raker and having it built or getting a 24p raker or a 21p rev4. I think the 24 raker would be right in the middle of my 5500-6000 (tel:5500-6000) power range. If y'all come up with a different idea please help me out. Thanks

What pitch were the props you were running against the limiter?
Also, I’m pretty sure running your motor WOT at 4200 is pretty hard on the motor. That 30 is way too much prop. On the other hand I fear going all the way down to 22 is going to be too little and back against the limiter.
I’m no expert though.

I started with the one that was on the motor. 16p SST, then a 18p Rebel, then a 19p trophy plus, then a 21p trophy plus in bad shape. All where on the limiter.

RK has made you a good offer , you want that motor at 6000 wide open or a little more 6200/6300 . when the heat of the summer comes back you want it to be in the operating range near the upper limit . That motor does not like to lug ........
