I am looking to convert my twin 300x motors to 300xs. I currently have marine machine steering on the boat. I understand that you can't buy the Marine Machine wing plates anymore? Not sure if that is true or not? Does anyone know if Latham plates work with my marine machine cylinders and tie bar?

Latham plates are shaped differently from the Marine Machine. Just buy a pair of Imco wing plates. They should work. To be sure ask Imco what size their rams are and if they are close to the same as your Marine Machine rams you are golden.

We already did it. I just told you who to call. Tony doesn’t know we did it.

Ok, so the Imco plates are closer to the marine machine plates? I really don't care what plates I use, I'm just tryin to avoid buying new cylinders and tie bar.

Call Paul Everitt at Zeiger and tell him what length rams you have (most likely 7 inch) . He will set you up with the plates that you need. Hes a great guy to deal with and makes top shelf stuff.
