My 225 ProMax pulls a 30 to the limiter pretty easy. It cruises nice on river runs too.
Is a 32 too much?

I would prefer to have rev limiter raised and up the rpm , bigger wheels can have slower holeshot etc and harder to drive etc etc
i turn a 28 worked to more like a 29 7600 on my pm. I don’t think I’d like a 32 on it. I run a 26 a lot to for snappier all around boating

If it pulls a 30 real well then a 32 should be better for the long strung out runs.. Maybe if a 32 don’t come out the hole very well you can stay with the 30 and run 1.78’s
I have been running a modified 30et thru 1.87 sporty on the limiter for years now on my xb and I love it. Great out of the hole and a decent top end. Have a couple 32 humpbacks I was gonna try but even though it is still in my garage I have recently sold the boat so I guess it won't happen. Really gonna miss that ride. The xb2002 is one hell of a boat.
