How many amp ?

Normally 40 amps is with an alternator.

Normally 40 amps is with an alternator. Theres a lot of 40 amp non alternator motors out there. My 91 2.5 200 is 40 amp no alt. The flywheels have heavier magnets

I thought the alt motors were 50 and 60 amp. I know the 2.5 280 is 60 amp.

I stand corrected. I thought all stators were low amp like the racing. The last alternator I had rebuilt I was told it was 40 amp on a 300 Promax.

I believe the 3.0 alternators are 50 amp. I'm not certain though
