I have been piecing together a mechanical trim setup and im down to needing a cable. I have a stainless marine actuator on a single ram offshore mid. I guy up here in Canada made up a nice indicator. Im curious what kind of cable people use? also any pics would help a lot. I know it shouldnt be rocket science. Merc shift cable, 33c shift cable, special cable?

thanks!

NICE PAIR

I'd say the 33c cable is probably used most. There are some spring loaded systems that use a flexible cable

When i rigged mine on my stv i used which ever cable matched the color od my hull, several different companies make 33 series cables... Morse are red, ultraflex are blue, teleflex are black, quicksilver are silver, Volvo and seater also make good 33 series cables.
