exaust plate leak update

Thanks to everybody that gave me advice about sealing two piece exaust plates with solid mounts. After another attempt, I got it to seal with zero leaks. I cut the O.D. of the mounts down .015 and coated them lightly with permatex ultra grey and put a dab of ultra grey on the very front of the gasket. No leaks. Thanks to everybody for the advice. K-dog
