Did David Carver run? How did he do?

OK...due to the short field and the decision of teh ODBA officials to run both the classes twice each day... I don't exactly know who finished where but here is what I do know....

Darrin Baxter runs Super Stock; Runs strong and I think won the whole deal in SS.

Casey ran really good. Got a 3rd in first round and a 5th (I think) in the second round. That Triad will get up and fly and Casey has that boat EXTREMELY well set-up.

I think Bruce Tripp cleaned house in Pro carb.

Ron Hauseman took honors in Pro Gas.

Wayne Tripp won Pro Fuel in a Pro Gas boat! Very impressive runs... (Great to meet you Wayne, enjoyed getting to work with you at the fuel tent.)

Marty Logan won U-Boat.

Chris Ray(6Killer) looked really good in his new Quartermaster. Bad luck hit him at the end but the boat ran very well.

Some of this might be wrong but that is the way I remember it.

Jeff,
Eric and I, and some of the locals are going to Rodney's event on
Watt's Bar in May. I know, same weekend as Wetumpka, can't be
at both. Maybe we could clone ourselves:rolleyes: ..................
Anyway, this thing is shaping up as a southern RBR/Rumble. Why
don't you go with us if you can?
Got the boat wet Friday. So far so good. Eric drove it, says he
really missed all that blowout and chinewalk:D :p ! Just pullin'yer string Grasshopper;) ..........
Regards,
Steve;)

Yo Eric , Steve & Jeff ya'll shoulda been there. One of you guys probably woulda took da win. We got handlin problems. Had a Hook added to da center pad & she aint behavin right Wants to hop all over the place. Back to da drawing board. Sam Smith blew his chit majorly first pass, but was runnin pretty good till it blew & that was w/out sprayin it. We got plenty work to do. Marty Howard stepped up to U/L so we could make a class & got second w/a 4 cyl. Kinda a dissapointing turn out but I think a good time was had by all anyhow...See yall next time hopefully Vic.... P.S. Still can't get rid o dem little beers w/da funny shaped bottles...LOL :D :D :D

Vic,
Interesting that you guys tried that 1st. A couple of friends (with
substantially less HP) ARE running the hook pad on their QMasters.
Mine doesn't have it, and it handles so well now, I was afraid to
to mess with it. Sounds like it may not be the chit on a Uboat?
Sorry we missed the show, and congrats again.
Regards,
Steve;)

Thanks for the invite. Not sure how my time frame will be at that point. Maybe?

All I've done is a little hose time. Got it back down to change the reed cages. Going to stock F1 cages instead of these gutted ones to hopefully help the bottom some. Still waiting on the other ignition. Wire tied the old stuff on:eek: to get some idle in. Course I ain't been in no hurry since I guesstimated Pisgha would get tha cherry;).

I'll keep the river thang open. I would like to do Wetumpka, but not without some serious breakin first and depending on when I get the rest of the stuff, who knows when that will happen.....May have to do KDBA with the old stuff:mad: but hope not.

Did a little work on a wet bike this past week and took it to the river this weekend. OH NO...fever is up anutter 5*.....gotta get ta work.

See ya

Jeff:cool:
