What is the filter micron or whatever needed for the fuel pump and for the injectors?
I'm wanting to run only 1 filter and not one that costs a $100!
I know that electric pumps suck at sucking but figure if they can suck through a filter mounted in the boat while mounted on the engine. Thats quite a distance!
They can do it within 18" of the fuel pick up. Mine might end up even closer.

Will making the suction line larger help? I can go to 3/4" or even 1" just for the line from pick up-filter- pump. The only restrictions would be the pump & tank adapter.
Anyone know what micron size they won't suck through?

I can see your house from there!!

I see the effects of glacieral (sp?) gouging but where is it?

I assume it was taken from the shuttle?

...one more like a screen, to keep the big stuff out of the pump, and then a finer one post pump to really do the filtering. Say....50 micron, and then a 10 micron. A larger inlet/suction line size wouldn't hurt.
