with todays ethanol fuels, my current fuel lines in my xb2003 are needing to be changed. Any suggestions on what brand line or type specifically i should replace with? Running a 2.5 200 thats been warmed over. Fuel water separator in line. if that helps any at all. Thanks in advance for the input fellow S&F members.

I've had great success with push-lok or twist-lok hose from Jegs or Summit. Never run ethanol fuel but did mess around with E85 for a while and it didn't phase those lines. Pretty sure they're rated for methanol fuel in cars, so E10 is like nothing.

Were you able to get one running on E85? I was thinking a few days ago about that, it's like cheap race gas.

Tried twice....scuffed a cylinder both times. But it did run. Had it at 185psi, but I was lean in the middle. Tried the 30% rule and found out that's nowhere near enough. Might try it again someday. The stuff is cheap, but you have to flush it out of the motor very well when you're done or you'll have a rust ball.

We run MR12 in our race bikes, ****s like $22 a gallon. I want to try and make one run on E85, but I feel like it would require more injector than it's possible for me to put in one.

To stay Coast Guard legal, use Shields fuel line.... Type A-1 under the deck and type B-1 above deck (not the silverado crap). We install nothing but Shields A-1 everywhere, best hose for the application. We use the good Parker steel braided stuff in Diesels and Inboard gas, but is too stiff for the run from the transom to an outboard.
