2.4 with WH20 carbs. Why is there sooo much oil and condensation on these carbs?
Complete rebuild and new reeds. Whats up with all this mess?

The spacer plate is known to do 2 things,improve the flow from the carbs to the reeds,and insulate the engine heat from the intake and carbs...cooler,denser air,more power...aside from looking a little sloppy the sweat is normal and wont hurt a thing,and is proof it's working,Chris

Thank you Chris... that spacer sure does add a punch from 3000 - 5000 rpm

Running without a silencer will allow the normal misting that is present in front of the carbs to settle and condense around the front area like that. No worries, just a bit messy. The silencer keeps that to a minimum and most contained inside it.
OK I must ask, difference in case psi with without the spacer?

The spacer is ahead of the reeds,crankcase volumn is the same...Chris

Does the spacer atomize the gas by pushing it further? Have a big spacer on the 350 in the donzi.

now I see it, doesn't decrease carb signal when it counts, mid to upper
