Need to have some custom hoses built for inline power trim. Anyone dealt with someone before that doesn't use the Huge 3/4 inch or bigger hose to make these? with the 3/16 male inverted flare fittings?
Local hydraulic shops here in BFE florida look at me like I got three eyes...
thanks

The problem with the inline trim hoses is the cylinder end. They have that little "kick" or bend in them to clear the bracket. Local shops around here just shook their head. I was stuck going the Sierra route.

Not looking for the funky straight end on the cylinder, just someone who can make small diameter hoses with the right size flare fitting

Don't know exactly which inline trim set-up your using Tom, but as mentioned, if your going with the "standard" inline trim cylinders arrangement...then yes, Sierra makes direct replacement black trim hoses, as would have come on the motor when new. Part number 18-2110 http://www.atlanticmarinedepot.com/images/18-2110.jpg

They also offer the above in stainless steel braided lines(sierra). If you are after S.S. braided lines that are custom lengths for any other trim set-up, any good hydraulic hose shop that makes up lines can do it. If one end, or both ends have a 90 or a 45 on them, they will ask you how you want them indexed, compared to the opposite end. This does not matter at all, if they are really long though. It also does not matter, if there is a straight on one end. I know your in an out of the way town, but the next closest larger city to you should have a hydraulic hose shop. Orlando? If not, we have many down here in south florida. Hydraulic Supply in Ft. Lauderdale makes thousands of them for instance. I have spent hundreds of thousands $$ there over the years. Latham Marine is one street away & buys all there fittings & hoses there, for instance. Yachting capital of the world. There are many other places down this way as well.

Not everything you ever needed. They do not carry or deal with the 3/16" inverted flare male fitting i need for one of the hoses. No one i haved talked to handles the at all.

Central Hydraulic in Daytona has them. I just bought 6 of them for 3 sets of hoses. They have several locations but I don't know how far South they are.

Spoke with Billy two days ago. He is working the issue. He has no right off the shelf answer yet.
Stainless is the big problem. working to find out who made the fittings for mercury.
