300XS Lower on 250 EFI. Will it fit?

I lost the lower on my mercury 2005 EFI with a TM with the 1" shaft. Because they are no longer making a TM with the 1" shaft, I am buying a lower from a 2007 300xs TM with the fat shaft. Will it fit the 250 EFI? I know I am going to have to change the prop hubs. I have checked the parts manuals and cant figure it out. They appear to have different model numbers.

If your 250 is a 3 liter it should fit. be sure the shaft length is the same.

Thanks for the input Nice Pair. I have already bought it because I thought so, then I had a second thought and got worried.
