I am looking to purchase a 1990 eliminator 24' daytona. It's a little bit of a drive so i'm trying to get as much info as possible. It has a 454. My question is did they ever put a 7.4 330 hp 454 in eliminator's in 1990? The guy says it's a 7.4 365 hp. I 'm not interested if it's not a 365 hp. He seems a little unsure. Any help would be great!

There was a lot of 330 hp 454' around in the late 80's and 90's. 89 and 90 was when they came out with the bravo drive because the alfa couldn't handle the 330 hp 454 that they were trying to bring back. The 365 hp is definitely a better motor with the 4 bolt mains and more. If it has a magnum 365hp ,thats a build able motor. You could do a nice 468ci with some nice heads and get @ 450hp. The 330 hp was like a truck motor. I would think you need block numbers to tell.
