My CD4 ignition pack has failed
The part number for my pack is 0582125
but i am struggling to find a pair.
I have found these part number 582811 but these are for a newer Johnson/Evinrude 90 100 115 will these be ok to put on my 1980 85hp. ???
My engine number is J85TLCSA if that helps

postage is the killer and remember you need 2 of them, seems very strange for both to go pop at once .
just a thought , but what about buying a motor that is already running with more power ?

being up in Scotland that will NOT bring a lot of money... thats 45hp more than you have already.
and then this one. Evinrude 85hp. same power and type you have now.

not sure about what parts of ignition can be swapped about, I am sure someone here will know though.

They changed the part number in 1984 so maybe its a bit better ?
