It ran fine Tuesday than I turned it off, wrapped it and sanded / painted / wheeled the side of the boat for new decals.

Last night i hooked her to a hose and she idles around 2000 and just stays there.

If I give her more throttle nothing happens other than the tone of the engine changes from more air but it stays at the same rpm.

Also the warning alarm starts beeping. Once my neighbors are up I'll check it again and count the beep pattern.

It's still under warranty but I'm hoping it's a issue I can fix and not have to wait.

Check the tps

Check it how? Would I see something sticking, not sticking, dirty or what?

Check to make sure the throttle has returned to idle and nothing is binding in all the linkages. Could be something slipped off or has gotten into the throttle linkage area that's preventing it from returning to idle. Check all connectors for the TPS and on the ECM, reseat them to be sure.

Is the arm that connects the throttle cam to tpi still connected ? Sometimes when we service the fuel filter it gets left off and we catch it when we attempt to restart. hf...

All the linkage is connected and throttle moving freely.

I did unhook the tps linkage arm and noticed the engine would idle when the throttle was closed and tps manually held wide open.

How do you reset the ecm?

Let me clearly, it starts and idles at 2500k, full throttle it's 2500k and that's with me manually working the linkage on the engine.

No matter what I do it runs at 2500k. I did notice if I unhook the linkage to the tps and hold it open while keeping the butterfly closed it idles normal.

Sounds like a trip to a dealer is in order. Hopefully they can just recalibrate the TPS but it may be defective.

While holding it a full throttle the engine gave 6 beeps if that means anything

My local dealer was super cool and slid me in just after lunch to scan her.. its a faulty TPS. With the key on it was reading 4.0v / @ 72% capacity while doing nothing..
