Never heard from him.
i purchased a chrome bore motor and was told it had good chrome. So I set up shipping and when I received it it was frozen solid, so bored could never have been checked( which I asked him to do )
motor had been submerged at one point and never drained. I sent him a pic of motor and crank and his reply was that wouldn't even make a good mailbox post.
then was told he was selling it for a friend of his son's, I asked for the guys number and was told he did not want to involve him and would take care of it.
i asked when and was told it was his off season and he would reimburse me soon. Well seasons came and went, I saw him buying and selling stuff with never a thought about me. I contacted him twice over the last 2 years as I have 760.00 invested and all I salvaged was a rusty flywheel.
Yes, things happen but good people take care of their mistakes and LIES!
i sent him a pm and he never responded, big surprise. Not sure what to do as it has been a while, I guess no honor really means no honor!
he has even went as far as to offer a part to someone I was working with at I lower price than I quoted, I was like wow! Adding insult to injury!
All I can say is get good pics and personally I would not take stock in what he says, just my experience

Skater mike is the perfect example of a con-man. I only hope I don't come across any cockroach like him in life or on this site. But I am sorry to hear what he did to you. Let's go find him and feed him to the fishes. ������

$760 for an entire motor shipped via LTL freight?

Shipping was 160 motor on a mid was 600, was basically buying the block and crank, all wiring was cut so electronics were trashed, mid was a 25 so it was junk, no heads, I was buying the block and rotating assembly problem was it had not rotated in a long time. I asked for motor to be spun to check chrome in other bores and was told they looked good, hell pretty hard to check when it won't turn over. I freaked when it was delivered, I was told then on the phone he would take care of it, guess he got amnesia, lol

pennman The money is low enough that it may not be worth a visit. Then again there is the satisfaction factor. I tell people who I haven't delt with before what my father taught me " the reciprocate of this hand shake is a gun shot"! I had one low life walk away from a deal!!!! Collecting money is an art not for the faint harted and I HATE seeing these stories on here. We members are here for fun and recreation and not to be preyed on. Keep on him as much as possible and I wish you the best! JMO Gary
