Some of you may have heard that Photobucket just changed their policy recently (http://nypost.com/2017/07/05/how-photobucket-is-now-shaking-down-its-users/), requiring paid membership to host photos. What that has resulted in is, people having years and years of hosted images on sites all over (including this one), will not have their images displayed until they pay the membership, which is $400/year. Thus, for Photobucket-hosted images that members added to their posts here, you will likely see an image in their place, similar to this one:

I don't know what the end result of this will be, but if anybody needs help hosting images here (http://www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?319342-EASY-Way-of-Adding-Photos-to-Posts-Please-Read), there are no limits on this site with respect to how many images you can upload.

We are revamping the Scream And Fly site, which will make uploading many images very quick and easy. In the meantime, there is a post showing how to upload images directly into posts, right here (http://www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?319342-EASY-Way-of-Adding-Photos-to-Posts-Please-Read). Scream And Fly has an incredibly powerful image-hosting system, and it's absolutely free to all members. I am also going to make a few videos outlining the Asset Manager here, which allows you to upload many photos into posts in one step. I use the Asset Manager every time I make a photo post here, such as this one (http://www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?328501-Rabco-Powerboats-Rabe-Photo-Collection-Batch-FIVE).

If I can help with anything, please let me know.

Seems to still be working for me. But I did notice my previous pictures got replaced with that "Please Up date thing.

But heres a picture of my 68 Pro Street Vett I sold a few years back that I transferred from Photo Bucket..

I'm sure they will do just fine will all the useless advertising that slowed viewing photos to a snails pace(LOL)! And now nobody will be posting there along with nobody will accidently "click" on one of their ads! So... they can kiss advertising $$$ away!

The photos are all still there and you can access them or download if you wish. The big issue for people like myself is there is no third party hosting anymore. I probably have 1000+ photos that were displayed here. Absolutely impossible to go back through and replace the pics on all those threads. It would take months. Even the bunny won't do it:nonod:

EXACTLY! Quickest way for me to ignore pics was to have them hosted on photslowbucket.

Guess it's better than tinypic reusing links so old threads you forgot to delete ended up with porn pics on them.
