Hello everyone, I just purchased an '85 19' action Marine and the boat has no title. I sent a message to "saturnracing2" as he posted some pics of the boat back in '09.... If anyone could help me find him or knows how to go about getting a title please message me or email with any assistance.

Where did you buy the boat, in Florida? If so, the person you bought it from should have a title for it. Go to the tag agency with him and have the title signed over to you, they can either do it while you are standing there or you might have to wait on an actual title getting to the seller to sign over to you. If the boat is not in the seller's name, it may be stolen.
I could never understand how someone would not get the title when the money is paid............

I know how things are supposed to happen. Thanks for your sarcasm. I took a chance and picked up a hull and tandem axle trailer for $300.... I figured there must be some way to get her back on the water.

Or you in jail for receiving stolen merchandise...I would at least run the numbers with the local police. If not stolen, then go to the tax collectors office and find the previous owner....All you need is the HIN or reg numbers. You need a bill of sale and a weight slip to reg the trailer.

Pm the action guys on here they still build them and might know the history. Xstream gave good advice.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was giving you advice and a warning of what might be to come. If the seller were the true owner, he should have no trouble getting the boat signed over to you at the tag agency, if he's not the true owner, you could be in deep doo-doo because at this point he is going to say he has no idea what you're talking about.. and with you in possession of the boat...... well, figure it out.

The boat is owned by a towing service in Key West and I, coincidentally, went to high school with both brothers that own it. One step closer to giving the ole girl a second chance at life.
