GOT A 86 2.4 200 CHROME BORE,Been runnin 150-155+lbs comp. bought the longblock 2 yrs ago used. run o/b jet so it hasnt seen over 6000 rpms since we got it, but does see WOT for extended periods.galded skirt on #5 hole, run pennz syn oil 32:1, 93 oct fuel. am goin to check carb for trash in main jet, check cyl for out of round, clean what little bit of alum there is out of cyl, replace that piston,re-ring rest of holes(comp consistently down 10-15lbs on all holes) put new bearings in bottom end,put on set of looser heads(get comp down to 135-140). and go like hell again!!i am thinkin this was just due to normal high comp, maybe a little bad gas, RAN THE **** OUT IT wear and tear, if everthing else checks out.any other thoughts on this, i am wide open for ideas if ive missed something. Thanks Guys
