I know we have been slacking in here on what is going on in the shop, but everyone here has been spending more time in the shop than the office, so we are behind on new post.

This is Richard's new Talon 22 SS. It is all yellow gel coat on the bottom and the deck is all yellow with black gel coated windshield. The yellow is very bright and looks good. I took this picture after we already turned off the lights, but will post more when we drop it down tomorrow. We lift all of the bottoms out of the mold and set them on a 5 foot tall stand to inspect the bottoms for any issues.

This is the new deck. I know I keep promising more pics, but we have been so busy, which is a good thing.

always liked these boats, especially the longer ones that accept twins. do you think it could accept a single 400?

There are 4 out there now with 400's on them now. They run great with them.

I really like the yellow. I did not think I would be a fan of it, but I am hooked on it now. We have a green one to do this winter and I can't wait to see what it looks like. I don't think there has ever been a green Talon out of the old factory before.

When you say deeper versions, are you referring to the XL? We have had a SS and an XL on order for about a year that are both getting twins. They have been bumped per the customer's request for different reasons. I think the first one to get twin 300's will be the XL, he just sold his boat (finally) and we are looking at this fall/ winter build on it now.

Yeah, I meant the XL version (the old I/O version). A buddy of mine, probably over a decade ago, said the now XL (old I/O) version would be a wicked ride with twins. Can't wait to see that bad boy.

I'm not sure if that Talon 37 was gel or paint. This one will be about that green. We have an Orange one for a California customer before the green one. Excited about these different color boats. The orange one will have more gel work and other colors done in the mold.

Took our Texas customer out for his first time in his new Talon 22 SS with a new Mercury 300xs at Indian Lake, Ohio. He picked the older decal set for the engine cowl, because he liked how it went with the boat. I think he made a great choice. He absolutely loves it! Great job SEB crew!
