I was watching the Netflix series, Narcos, and noticed a familiar boat. In one scene where, one of Escobar's lieutenants was telling him how they have impregnated the fiberglass in the boat with cocaine. The boat almost certainly looked likea Hydrostream to me. You cannot see the entire boat, but the bow section is visible. I thought it was interesting, in that using a Hydrostream would of course be era-correct for the Escobar timeline of the show.

Is that the scene were Escobar shoots the drug sniffing dog?

Yes! That's the scene. The thing that throws me off a bit is the windshield on the boat. But I'm almost positive that it's a Hydrostream. What do you think?

It finally makes sense as to why all the power tour guys are so enthusiastic to do fiberglass work on their boats. Never could understand how a guy could be so motivated to replace a transom and core in one night.

Wonder of coke is more rot resistant then balsa? Price might be a bit prohibitive though...

But if you compare the blow to other composites like coosa, the price is right in line...

Very true. And it ups the value of the boat.
