HELP posting for a friend.

Boat wont turn over 3000 ? well since tach went out think it is 3000. Boat will NOT jump on plane. Ran fine week before. But no balls.

3 plugs looked real wet. 1 was brown.

On the hose it sound fine, but when loaded up NO GO will run about 10-15 mph WOT ?

Stator ? Power pack ??rectifier ????


Simple tests that can be performed ????

Is the timer base moving?or did the link fall off.Does it have spark on all 4?or is it idling on 2.some simple tests.Dave
