New steering ?

Question: My steering is a little stiff so I disconnected it at the motor. The motor swivels easily but the steering wheel is still kinda stiff.

Time for new steering unit ? Are there some recommendations for good replacement units ? Are the NFB units the way to go (short of hydraulic units) ? What measurements do I need ? Aside from pulling the motor off is it a pretty simple install ?

I've got a '91 Cajun 17.5' F/S with a GT150. Appreciate any input, jeff...

Are you running single or dual cable?

Dual cable is the way to go. All slop can be adjusted out off the steering and a second cable is a bit safer too.

It's a dual cable system currently.

I'd try the luber. If it doesn't work I'd try the Rickracer :D
