What is a stock 200 2.5 head? 35cc?
What cc will give you 135 lb. range and what kind of performance can you expect from this single mod?
How much does 135lbs increase risk of detonation on 93 pump gas? Is it worth the risk for a heavy 70 MPH recreational boat?

Most "stock" 200 heads are 38 cc's and I have seen 41 cc's
35 cc's with thin head gaskets should render you 140-45 # with stock port height !

Before I stuck #4 I had 124-126 Lbs accross the board with gasket # 27-822844 and 35cc heads. Can gaskets make that much of a difference? Thanks

20 lbs difference just with the gaskets? No, but variation in compression guages and operator techique might account for part of it.

Rex I heard you run liquid nitrogen @ 200 lbs in 'yer motors and they go like a raped ape for sixty minutes:eek: I'm scared of anything over 140 lbs.....don't want no 'mo detonation. I'll wait 'till I get her back together with new rings and recheck comp. #s after break in and go from there.......Thanks
