Yea I think they would be very handy, especially if they were lil longer than stock to help with installation of lower

7/8" od , thin wall (.058") aluminum tubing works great . Commonly used for bimini tops .

It only matters if you buy just the impeller and not the impeller kit that comes with a new tube.
