I'm at a loss with this. Just finished putting a promax 225 on my already rigged boat and it keeps blowing the trim pump fuse cutting all power to the motor. I've already inspected all the wires in the boat and none of them are shorting or arching. Is it a solenoid? Or something else?

It happens just when it is idling or higher rpm's. I could push the trim up and down all day and it won't blow, only after running for a minute or so, just instantly cuts power, can't even turn it over. Replace the fuse and everything works again.

20 amp fuse should be connected to batt side of the starter solenoid. if it only blows when running must have a short on the purple circuit some where in the harness.
