Just wondering if you bought new or used? I recently purchased two pistons that were supposed to be Vertex from two different vendors on Ebay. Both times I recieved a ProMarine piston instead. After that I called ProMarine and they no longer stocked Vertex pistons for the 2.4. Mine is overbored steel sleeved though. Maybe that is why. Scott
