WTB a 14 x 24 Raker

I am looking for a 13 7/8 or 14 x 24 Raker. I am not an Evinrude guy but now I have a 1996 70hp with a 20" shaft. I don't know how many splines I need but if you are an OMC guy you will know. Thanks

I have one that I probably don't need. I used it occasionally on my old family boat. When do you need it? I would like to try mine on the new boat when the ice is gone. It will be a huge surprise if the new boat needs a 24" prop.

is your boat a small light V bottom? Maybe you should try a 23SRX.

OMC made the 23SRX and DAH was/is famous for tuning the SRX. They come up for sale from time to time. The 23SRX would be good for your boat. I had one on a similar boat (Voodoo with 70 Yamaha)

I will try my Raker once on the new boat when the ice melts in a month...

the srx you refer too was called the silver streak by OMC.
it was originally made for the omc v4 motors back in the 1970's. Lots of the v4 140's ran the prop with some pretty good speeds.
like said above DAH are the experts to tune these props, might due to the owner of DAH being the guy who designed the prop.
But being 13 splines most people who have these use them on the johny/rude 60 and 70hp triples on light hulls.

the srx is the name of the latest versions of this made made inly in 15 spline for the larger engines, but the silver streak wasa metallic silver painted prop.
once the paint is off and the prop polished its an srx and pretty easy to tell what it is.
its also an over hub prop with a rubber hub .
the 13 spline prop came in just the one size....13 3/4 x 23 pitch 3 blade. its often called a semi cleaver.

I found that Michigan Wheel makes a 24" prop that would appear to fit my motor. iboats.com sells it for $360. Does my 1996 Evinrude 70HP 20" shaft 13 spline 2.42 gear ratio have the large or small gearcase?

I have a SRX 13 3/4 X 23 p 13 spline....not in the best shape, one blade has a nick, another blade rough leading edge...nothing a prop shop can't fix, been on the shelf awhile...hard to find prop...will sell for $150.00 plus thr ride...blades not bent or cracked just ruff on leading edge, has pressed in rubber hub, small over the hub not thru the hub...call me 321-537-0905 if you think you could use it...thanks DON

Large gearcase, known as the 4 1/4 same as old crossflow v4.

15 spline is for the v6 gearcase , the hub is far too big.
