u should have just glassed FLAT over the well. it looks better and offers more strength! and you'll have more room under there for batt. gas and whatever else you need.

Yeah the wells get in the way and you will find in the future they are useless.

If that jack plate is a flat aluminum plate it won't work. I made one with too little angle support and it bent.
With only a plate it definitely will.

no its not and im pretty sure that a marine mechanic who does this for a living knows what hes doing. Even if i did that it wouldnt have gave me more room i dunno if u have seen in a delta the floors a bit dif.

so your saying that if you glassed the splashwell over (in a curve) u would NOT have more room? thats impossible.. your saing with a big thing hanging down you have more room then without it?? when your talking about the marine mechanic you were talking about the jacl plate rite? b/c that thing looks nice :)

im not to sure what your talking about but either way i dont really need more room. Yeah the "jackplate" was made by a really good marine mechanic.

i like it too :D... the battery is right behind the pilot seat, and the gas tank fits right behind there. ive seen it firsthand, in real life, and it looks pretty sweet :p . theres enough room for everythin...

in my vixen i closed off the splashwell so i can get all the weight in the back. the more weight towards the back the easier the bow will fly (in a good way) i have my batt almsot against the transom, then the gas tank in front of that. then 2 seats inline.

im not saying it looks BAD, im just saying its ALOT stronger if its closed off, and theres more room to move stuff back.

That transom setup of yours tank is deffinetly different,i see there are like ajustable bolts that brace the transom?
