I am just curious about propeller manufacturing, with all the vendors that sell propellers its had to believe that they all pour/ cast their own props in the back yard. Do a bulk of the props come from 1 or 2 shops and are just tweaked by the aftermarket shops or what.

Backyard? Thats funny. There are hundreds of foundry's, large and small, in the U.S. alone, that have the ability to pour propellers for prop designers/manufacturers.

As noted there are a lot of foundries. How many foundries that want to monkey with low volume stainless is probably a smaller number. I think most if not all the prop suppliers have the parts cast by a supplier and the do finish work in house.
