I'm new to this fourm. I looking for a schematic for the OMC X-115 or GT-115 lower units. Also, someone that might have parts. props and the knowledge to put one back together that has been taken apart. I have a X-115 that I'm trying to bring back to life.

I know I'm asking for the world, but any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Hey Welcome to S&F, you came to the right place. Sorry I can't be of much help but hear are some pics I got off the interenet. When you get your motor put together what boat are you gonna run it on? Post some pics.

Thanks for the reply. I bought a prop from the guy who owns the almost brand new X-115 in your picture - nice piece. I'm planning on running it on a 1959 12'8" PowerCat. I started rebuilding it, but I felt it got too heavy so now I'm going to pull a mold off of it and make a new stronger lighter PowerCat. I have a small fiberglass fabrication and mold making shop.

I have the parts manual for both of these motors. Also some old service bullitens. The parts manuals are not like todays. No illistrated breakdown, just the part numbers. Let me know if this will help. Would be glad to make some copies of this for you.

hydro-cat,

Thanks for the reply. I have a copy of the owners manual for the X-115 and the Stinger version. Neither have an exploded view of the lower unit. I would love to get copies of the old service bulletins, the might be of some help. You can email me at [email protected] and we can work it out from there. Many thanks.

KRAAZYBOAT,

I sent you an email.
