87 220 efi laser........ ran good , developed a knock after line came unplugged from the oil tank " buzzer did not come on "it does start and if you turn the flywheel by hand it stops on TDC on upper piston , im thinking rod or main bearing .

Without knowing the extent of the damage, I'd only pay about 200 - 300 for it so long as there is no water in the gearcase

is that a 20" mid with a 5" spacer to make it a 25" mid? Its worth more in parts than whole.

It's worth more in parts than whole, 4-5 hundred bucks for a stock 1.87 case, 200 for the mid, 300 for the electronics, 100 for carbs. So without the block being good, 1000 as is. If the block and or crank is good, then goes up from there.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it.....I once sold a V-4 lemmonrude for $500 over what it was worth. Value is in the eye of the beholder, ask more than you want for it. if someone pays you asking price, you won.
