Beautiful boats, absolutely as sexy as they get.... But, the perfectionist nut in me asks why a plastic floor hatch on this level of boat?

Nice quality looking hull and interior. I must be old school....looks strange not seeing any gauges on the dash except the 1 display.

Mine's going to look a lot like that except I'm doing a 7" Simrad display instead of the 5" Merc unit. I'll have a couple more "round" things on the dash with a stereo head unit, U-Flex power steering control pad and a Bob's jack plate height gauge in addition to the Simrad and switch panel.

It's the way of the future and actually cheaper than doing old school gauges plus I get a full screen GPS Chart Plotter and a high tech depth sounder all in the same footprint.

Remember, these are custom builds. If you want to drop a lot of coin on hatches that's your option.

BTW, the new storage boxes they use in the sides are very nice quality. The center hatch indent on the deck is a challenge. The company that made the hatch the original molds were made for has long since gone out of business and no one else makes one that fits it correctly. I decided to go with a smaller door that will sit down in the recess, less trip hazard. I'm leaving the area under that center hatch open and will probably line that area with carpet or thin, closed cell mat so I can store things like an anchor or life preservers there and still retain full access for rigging or anything else I might want to get to down there.

Here's the side storage box we decided to use on mine, they have a nice SS self locking latch.
