Thats not a bad video at all, its shows the bullet climbing on top of the water perfectly.
need more vids like this on the net to show people where they need to be running at.

what was the max speed when running during this video ?

This can't compare to the two videos above but offers a view down the tunnel as well.

thats some nice video's if surfacing for sure.
shows a lot more than words can say, and can see how much work the surface props do.
not to sure about the ugly bungee stuff though ha ha I like the look of the strap used by AZMIDLYF.
I take it the straps are incase of hitting something and stopping the motor coming into the boat ? or is it something else.

these boats truly are flying along in these vids,
.

ok now a daft question
would an SRX be best to run with bullet riding on the top of the water like in the vids above ?
I remember the fella I got it from said " that props likes to run real high " did he mean this high ?

This must have a transom water pickup as water is coming out the water inlets on the bullet?

AZMIDLYF

Yes it does have a transom pick up

Mr. Demeanor has been doing videos better than these for years on his 13. FYI he just broke 100mph.

Dont tell him, but I have a man crush on Mr. Demeanor hahaha!!! My home made tunnel I'm working on had a lot of inspiration from him.
Hope to be making a video of my OWN like this, this coming summer.

However, AZMIDLYF's video is amazing... water is flat as a pancake !!! Beautiful video.
The one I posted was some pretty rough water !

Who else has TRANSOM vids !? !? !?

Around 3:33 , can't believe it has enough hold to keep speed up. Pretty much just paddling, wild.

Ya, Ive been watching this video for years, never ceases to amaze me, that thing was dialed in. I wonder how long that gear case lasted?

also no cone fitted to that Honda , just a bog standard gearcase riding on the water with ease.
I suppose once its up and riding high, the cone dont do anything anyway.
we dont see many boats running nose cones over here at all.

would love to get my little 70 up that high and see what happens, probably turn the boat over with powerhead so high up ha ha

What you see of it might be "bog standard" but what's hidden below is not. I've been told...

Here is one of my Argo 17.

Notice the huge waterspray from transom mounted pickup. I am going to reshape the L/u
nose and mount pickup there.

He's running some sort of 36p prop too. That poor skeg.

Amazing videos, all of them... having these lightweight, waterproof cameras/cases is just awesome for stuff like this!

Here is one from my boat a bunch of years ago. I didn't plan on the camera moving down but it turned out for a better view of the gearcase/prop.

And you can see where the water blows the paint off.

Here's one I made last weekend. Had engine trouble, low on power, but still a nice video. Especially the last two minutes where it gets more rough.
I have to raise the jackplate to full up to get to the height I need to be, it's hard on the jackplate.

Wanted to try it again this winter with a 50 degree day and light load to what she had in her but shortly after video I broke prop shaft and lost prop. Havnt got prop dialed in yet to try it.

Not my video but here is a Hydrostream Vulture. You can see when the hull breaks the dreaded vacuum that the Vultures are plagued with.

This Liberator vid is interesting too. It really shows how much of the lower unit is out of the water.
