Stv gas tank location

Fabed a solid aluminum plate for 27 gal tank to sit on how far back does it need to be in boat or more forward. .? And pic of boats like it would be great thanks. .361249361250

Stock location is all the way to the back against the transom

On my Euro its about 4-5" from the stern, I believe thats probably due to the fuel fill and tank fill alignment. Like noted above, its as far back as it will go.

Ok its up against aluminum transom bracket now witch is about 5-6" foward of engine bolts
