HA! Kinda funny here as some the tree huggers say "glad to see the almost extinct animals are back" WTF? Then ya got the wizards here on the HOA board saying as protected, we can't do anything. Simple stupid hand ringers .."Oh no were fuced! BS. Some the plans thought up are funny! Bang pots, whistles, but a fence up, etc other stupid. I said throw beach balls at them and see how they handle that! Or go down with a nerf gun, and blast'em with foam harmless ammo! Others say as we are replacing a (again, not proper done last year) log boom breakwater. Many say (as the reg seals are all over but not the weight these beasts) they would go there instead. REALLY..dumb ass? Sink and destroy it first flip up fast! Main dock replaced few back for $50'000, (A and B boat docks and fingers are coming next as old) so its a sturdy SOB. Plus its the rainy season here, cool, and most boats out for season.
There just following the spawning Salmon run, and when the food goes away, so will they. But they are big ass monsters!
But my boats parked house, as I have the second slip far dock facing the water/log boom. Be fun trying to get to it now! Another pic.
OH YEAH, where ya at CA? Got relatives, many friends all over So and Norcal.

Haha ! That's great !
They are really making that dock sag ! Kick em in the arse !!! How about simply tying fishing line a foot off the dock from pole to pole? Just enough to annoy them to stay off ? Works for the seagulls on the boats in the harbor up here.
Robby I heard they taste just like chicken.

DFW says OK to pissem off with paint balls, but the tree huggers (of course only own kayaks) are up in arms. They will go when Salmon run over, but bet back next year. Pissing off the home owners here with the damn barking!

Oh yeah, on paint balls? Done a lot paint ball wars back Illinois, but out in the woods like a natural fight. Damn, I still got the camo, mask, etc but too old for that chit now. I brought up our website and the marina manager (shes a good friend mine, and hubby and me into RC boats too as real thing, slip down from me) but when I brought up "and put the balls in the FREEZER first"! Sandi PMed me and said "I agree, but the tree huggers are up in arms and are in my face about that! So don't bring that up again please?"
And the not so bright female Prez says.."lets not start a war down there"
Really? There up to 35 and more down there and sinking the slip fingers now. Its the winter rainy season here, and few boats in the marina and be gone summer. I hope, or I getting into a war with them going to my boat and I don't like to lose a good fight, like in Nam which came in "second place", but WE didn't "give up", the "powers that be did". Zero fan.. "authority". (DUH!). Ya know what I like about "rules"?
BREAKING THEM! :D
Maybe time to get on my Lathe and make that silencer for my 9 shot Taurus .22 revolver, loaded up "Snake Shot bullets", or even one my pump the crap out it pellet hand guns. Not a fan of killing or harming a animal..(2 legged kind excepted), but thats MY DOCK!

those lions don't like noise? maybe just find the right frequiency or a good [bad rap] song they don't like and put a boom box down there if you don't have shore power for a stereo system and blast them out ,the tree huggers cant give you **** for freedom of speech if the bastards wont get off your dock, hell you might even get lucky and lose a few tree hugger neighbors. haha rock on bro what ever works .

Well if they didn't leave I was gonna suggest you set up a PA system with a 12' tall projector screen and blast a Hillary speech. That'll drive anything away but you might get fined for inhumane treatment of wild animals.

not sure about that, guess they might get lucky if enough salmon are in a dead-end narrow waterway..?when we salmon fish in open ocean, they just wait to we almost have them netted after a long hard fight

I'm south Puget Sound, and many inlets. I'm between El and Totton and then the streams and the chum coming back to spawning grounds. Run over, they head back Ca. They will probably be back next year....
