i have a steel block that was bored .016" over setup for 0.015"+ wizards..........would vertex be alright to use??
whats optimal ring gap for vertex?
0.001" doesnt seem like it would be enough to hurt anything but not sure

One or two piece plate?---IMO if your "finish" bore is +001 you will be fine with a quality piston like Vertex. With a one piece, + 001 is the norm, and sometimes a couple .0001 more.

I run 0035-004, no problems. Now if you try to run them in a steel bore at .008+ you're going to have problems. Try to get your motor to run 140 degrees and it'll be happy.
