Has anybody ever turned your own motor mounts? I got some 5166 Alum. and was going to give it a try. What's your .02??

I made mine for my inline and a set for my V6. I used 6061T6.

I have even made a set out of hard black plastic (vecton), you can hit it with a hammer and not dent it.

John, What size engine did you run the plastic ones on? I picked up some stock to try some plastic ones but chickened out, Made them out of alum. just like the last set I made.
