I have the exact same prop, a Steve Smith offshore cut 28p chopper. In my case it pulls like a team of mules, especially from cruising around 3-4k and go WOT. I have a 1977 Cobra Phantom 17' bass boat. I weighed it at Jasper a couple weeks ago and fully loaded it weighed 1632 lbs without me in it. I offer that info because I know most you guys have boats that weigh half that and hopefully that gives an idea of what to expect from the prop.
