Cleaning out the garage!!

I am offering a pair of Simon Motorsport 3.0 billet heads for Mercury/Mariner outboards. I purchased these 8 years ago with very little use on them to install on my 300X when I re-built it but I have yet to do so. The heads are like new with an anodized finish on them. After I purchased them, I talked to Eric and he told me that they were the same CCs as my stock heads. I just checked their website, but I don't see them listed any more. If they are the same cc, what would be the purpose of using these heads?

They are more beneficial to a non 300X engine like a 225, 250 or a 300 ProMax for example but they look very good when you are standing at the launch with your cowl off talking with your buddies. Let me know if you have any other questions.
