Swannie Trip OUT:: ST JOHNS IN!!!!

Well never thought I'd have to change places because of to much water,but it's true,the swannie is shut down to Idle only,so we are moving to the ST JOHN'S,The LIGHTNING BOY's and I are staying at the Bestwestern Marine in SANFORD (old Holiday Inn),right on lake monroe,just down from where I-4 crosses the ST JOHN'S,we are coming in early,leaving Sarasota about Noon!Should put us there about 3:00pm,anybuddy got any Idea's where to go for Dinner around there ?? not that far back to Orlando!It will be like old times running up from Sanford!We will get to do some Running instead of just sitting all day! John I not sure if still there but a few yrs ago there was steak house (family run deal) just up the road 2-3 miles from that motel that had awesome steaks.. They had a like a 36oz steak and if ya could eat it all it was free..--one of those kinda rustic places that only the locals knew about.. Me and bunch buddies rode from the glen to that motel for the night.. ask the locals for good rest. they sent us there via a cab... next morning back to Glen.. Just a thought...

St. Johns and Sanford, I'll probably be there and run as far as blue springs with you all. The Glen is way to far on my budget. 27 gal tank filled twice is expensive on my funds...
There is Wolfies (sp) right next to the Best Western, aint never eaten there but its always jammin' so it cant be too bad. Also there is a Sonnys that isnt too bad just up 17-92 if barbque is your thing....
Just Post the ramp time and I'll try and make it.

P.S. The city of Sanford has graciously seen fit to completely monkey hump the entire river front road from 17-92 all the way past downtown. The easiest way to get to Lake Monroe will be to exit I-4 on 46 and then when you reach 17-92, cut through town. I'm sure they have signs posted.
