I have been running a Bosch 580464013 fuel pump in my HydroStream Viper for many years, 1st on a Bridgeport, now on a 200 ProMax. I had some sort of fuel delivery problem last time out so I am completely re-plumbing my fuel system and am going back with a new Bosch 984 pump. I am also installing a fuel pressure gauge in the dash as I should have years ago. My question is for anyone who may know;

Can I get away with pushing the old 013 pump to 56 PSI just to run a Drag motor on an engine stand. I would not try to run one on the lake this way, just wondering if the pump could handle a few minutes of 56 PSI. Bosch says 43-1/2 PSI working pressure. Anyone tried this ?

One more question, does anyone know where to buy the angled insulator boots for a Bosch fuel pump? I have searched for hours on the web with no good find.

I tried it today. It held 56 PSI steadily. So far, so good.
